(ANSA) - BERLIN, NOVEMBER 17 - In a comment on the summit of yesterday with the ministers-presidents of the German Land, Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted that political decisions on the coronavirus crisis are too slow.
"I will always be the impatient component in the matter", Merkel said in a speech at the conference organized today by the Suddeutsche Zeitung. "Whoever acts first can also get out of the limitations first", continued the chancellor.
Coronavirus "is the challenge of the century that will engage the whole world," Merkel said. The virus leads men to something inhuman, like distancing themselves from each other, and "for this I have to talk to men in another way too," he continued. (HANDLE).
