Therefore, the following Municipalities and Metropolitan Cities, with the relative dossiers, enter the shortlist of cities that will participate in the final phase of the selection procedure: 1.

Therefore, the following Municipalities and Metropolitan Cities, with the relative dossiers, enter the shortlist of cities that will participate in the final phase of the selection procedure: 1.

The ten finalist cities will have to present their dossiers to the Jury in a public hearing.

The meetings will be held, compatibly with the containment measures adopted by the government for the epidemiological situation in progress, at the Collegio Romano, Mibact headquarters, on 14 and 15 January 2021, according to the calendar and the procedures that will be announced below.

It will be the task of the Jury to recommend to the Minister Franceschini the most suitable candidacy project for the designation of the Italian Capital City of Culture for the year 2022 by 18 January 2021, in order to award the title by the Council of Ministers.
