Almost everyone likes to eat

chocolate in different versions

: whole milk, nougat *, white chocolate - the choice of varieties seems almost endless.

Of all flavors,

dark chocolate is

a

healthy alternative

to normal milk chocolate.

This is partly because it

contains

less sugar

, which in excess can lead to a whole range of diseases.

In addition, it should let the blood sugar level rise more slowly and thus not lead to an uncontrollable desire for more sweets.

To be considered dark chocolate, the product must have a

cocoa content of around 70%

.

Dark chocolate: This is the test winner

Five of the chocolates were able to convince in the Stiftung Warentest test: They were

rated very good in terms of taste,

and thirteen others were

rated

good.

All showed that dark chocolate can have a greater variety of flavors than comparable chocolates with whole milk.

From

citrus notes to tobacco or vanilla

, everything was included among the products tested.

The test winner

is the

Hachez Edle Bitter

(1.99 per 100 grams).

in six products

.
