The ten
provinces
that accumulate the highest number of tourists for the 2021 summer holidays
will not require visitors to comply with quarantine or present a prior coronavirus test
with a negative result.
These are
Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Río Negro, Mendoza, Salta, Jujuy, Neuquén, Chubut, Entre Ríos and Tierra del Fuego
, which together are the destination of 90% of tourists during the summer.
This was agreed by its governors with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (Minturdep), sources from that portfolio reported today.
At most, some of these provinces will request prior registration in the "vacation registry",
which
records
the number of entries to certain municipalities and the movement of the traveler within the country.
In addition to not requiring the completion of a quarantine or the test called PCR, in these regions
tourists will not be required to have travel insurance
, through agreements established by their governments with the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens.
From the Minturdep they explained to Télam that it was a work carried out by the minister and his team, in contact with governors and ministers of those provinces to homogenize the requirements for the summer.
Some provinces will request a control through the vacation registration during the summer, for which they are already in contact with the Ministry of Public Innovation -such as the case of Buenos Aires with the Cuidar Verano application that will begin to be used from December 1-, the sources specified.
