(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 20 - The ITASpA meeting was held today which authorized the board of directors to assign to the chairman the powers on audit, legal, compliance and secretariat of the Board and, jointly with the managing director, on Communication and Relations Institutional.
The assembly also approved some minimal changes to the statute.
The ITA SpA board of directors met under the chairmanship of Francesco Caio and, in line with what was authorized by the Shareholders' Meeting, delegated the powers to the Chairman and appointed Fabio Lazzerini - already designated CEO and CEO of the Company.
The CEO-GM was given the anticipated proxies, together with those of the President, in the previous meeting of 12 November and in the press release of the Company in paridata.
"Today we enter the operational phase of ITA SpA and we will accompany its birth and development with ambitious goals to create a successful company for the country".
Thus the CEO and CEO of the new Alitalia company, ItaSpa, Fabio Lazzerini.
