The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed this Friday another 261 deaths and 9,608 new infections of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
In this way, Argentina accumulates 36,790 fatalities due to the pandemic and 1,359,042 confirmed positive cases.
The detail of the health portfolio report shows that 163 men and 95 women died in the last hours.
In addition, regarding the monitoring of inmates and beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), they confirmed that there are 4,187 adults hospitalized for COVID-19, with a total occupancy percentage of 57.6% in the Nation and 60.7% in the AMBA.
In the last 24 hours, 37,816 tests were carried out and 3,622,893 diagnostic tests for this disease were carried out since the beginning of the outbreak, which is equivalent to 79,840 samples per million inhabitants.
Meanwhile, the Government awaits the arrival of the vaccines, which, according to President Alberto Fernández, could be in December to vaccinate a part of the health, safety and risk groups workers.
The president also announced that in March the Oxford vaccine would be available together with the AstraZeneca laboratory that will be produced in the country.

It will be the portfolio led by Ginés González García that will coordinate the interaction of five ministries: there will also be Defense, Security, Interior, Science and Technology, plus the Head of Cabinet of Santiago Cafiero.
