(ANSA) - SYDNEY, NOV 23 - Another deadly attack by squalas on a popular but not patrolled Australian beach.
A man was killed Sunday morning by a 4-meter-high shark in shallow water at the Cable Beach of Broome tourist center in Northwest Australia.
The beach is normally supervised by lifeguards but not in November and May, because it is the period in which the very poisonous irukandi jellyfish are common in the water, as well as saltwater crocodiles.
The man in his 60s was returned to Rivad where he received medical treatment but died shortly thereafter.
