(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 23 - Riyadh denies the news relating to the alleged meeting yesterday in Saudi Arabia between the hereditary prince Mohammad bin Salman and the Israeli Prime Minister BenyaminNetanyahu in the presence of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The news of the meeting, which according to the Israeli media took place in the new Saudi technological city of Neom, was denied by the Foreign Minister of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
"I received and said goodbye to Secretary of State Pompeo at Neom airport, I attended his meeting with the Crown Prince, and there was no Israeli present," said the head of Saudi diplomacy speaking to the pan-Arab Al Arabiya television. (HANDLE).
