Hair color matching

L'Oreal Professional launched this morning (Monday) an application that allows hair stylists to accurately present the customer with a 3D image of her with the shade she chose even before coloring.

The service allows the undecided customer to download the app at home and consult with relatives what shade is right for her even before arriving at the salon.

How It Works?

Download the Style My Hair Pro app, choose from the color palette the preferred shade and wait for the result.

The app allows imaging via tablet, including displaying a combination of shades, and various effects like umbra.

Matching makeup products

L'Oreal Israel has launched a service for makeup consumers called VIRTUAL TRY ON.

Through the app, you can experiment without touch and adjust makeup products at points of sale, and in fact it replaces the testers at makeup stands around the country.

How does it actually work?

The code on the product is scanned using the mobile phone camera.

At the end of the scan, a web page will open in which the user sees himself next to the fan of colors and shades that the product offers, and thus experience in a safe and virtual way instead of the testers.

The service is free and available on all smartphones.

Exact match can also be obtained from home, through the websites of L'Oreal Paris and Lancome.

The Biofor cosmetics company offers a skin diagnosis by a qualified beautician through a video call on WhatsApp, personalization of products and sending them via courier to the customer's home.

The products are individually tailored by a qualified beautician and provide an answer to an individual need, without the need to leave the house.

The service is provided through an Israeli website called getbeauty, which centers on selected beauticians.

In the first stage, a beautician is chosen to be contacted through the app, the beautician diagnoses the skin on WhatsApp and recommends treatment products that are sent to the home via courier, including a protocol with treatment instructions and monitoring of results.

Diagnosis of facial skin aging

The French dermo-cosmetics brand VICHY has launched a system for diagnosing skin aging online called SKINCONSULT (Skin Consult) developed in collaboration with dermatologists and based on artificial intelligence.

The system allows women to perform an online skin diagnosis from anywhere, and get personalized skin diagnosis results.

The system also offers a customized grooming routine to help find the solution for personal and specific skin needs.

The system is based on artificial intelligence, and relying on a single selfie of the client can identify and rate the seven signs of aging of the facial skin: wrinkles under the eyes, wrinkles, appearance of pores, appearance of dark spots, lackluster skin, deep wrinkles and sagging skin (lack of firmness).
