45.5 meters deep (a world record), the Mszczonow “Deepspot” swimming pool near Warsaw opens its doors to divers.
Equipped with caves and a boat wreck, the basin which contains 8,000 cubic meters of water heated to 32 degrees, can accommodate novices as well as experienced divers looking for training.
"A nursery school for divers"
“Here there are no magnificent fishes, no coral reefs, so that does not replace the open waters” explains Przemyslaw Kacprzak, diving instructor.
“But it's a great tool for learning and training.
And then it's a lot of fun, it's a kindergarten for divers!
"
Open despite health restrictions
Unlike ordinary pools reserved for swimming, the Deepspot complex is allowed to accommodate customers despite the Covid-19 pandemic in Poland because it is considered a diving training center providing courses.
