A court in Egypt has set a hearing for December 19 to examine a lawsuit calling for the removal of the name of actor Muhammad Ramadan from the artists' union.
The lawsuit was filed yesterday (Monday) following the controversial image of Ramadan, in which he is hugged with Omar Adam.
Lawyer Hani Gad, who filed the lawsuit, said Muhammad Ramadan appeared in the photo on social media with one of the most famous singers in Israel - Omar Adam, and posted it on his account.
In doing so, he claims, the singer hurt the Egyptians' feelings and the hatred they show for Israel.

According to the lawyer, this is an "irresponsible act."
He added that the songs of Muhammad Ramadan and the clips in which he appears ، do not hold any artistic value and are controversial within the Egyptian people.
So are the images he distributes on the networks - which "cause cancer that destroys what is left of the moral or exciting belonging to the state."
