(ANSA) - TURIN, NOVEMBER 24 - Firecrackers, smoke bombs and paint eggs were thrown this morning against the building in via Lugaro, in Turin, which houses the editorial office of La Stampa and the Turin Republic.
Slogans against journalists and against magistrates were chanted by about twenty protesters, who also left a claim leaflet signed "anarchists and anarchists".
Digos intervened on the spot.
For investigators, the blitz could be linked to the sentence of the appeal process of the Scripta Manent investigation scheduled for the afternoon.
The Scripta Manent maxi-trial concerns the activities of the Fa-Fri, acronyms with which a number of actions were claimed in various Italian locations between 2003 and 2016. Traesse, the bombs exploded in Turin in the pedestrian area of the Crucetta, the explosive devices sent to former mayor SergioChiamparino, to the newspaper Cronaca Qui and to the command of San Salvario of the municipal police; then the two bombs detonated near the former Carabinieri school in Fossano and the incendiary parcel sent to the former mayor of Bologna, Sergio Cofferati.
In the first instance, the trial - where charges of terrorism were disputed - ended with five sentences and eighteen acquittals.
The highest penalties were inflicted on Alfredo Cospito (20 years) and Anna Beniamino (17 years). (HANDLE).
