The Emergency Commissioner: "The plan will take into account four variables, asked the Regions to indicate the places" (ANSA)

There will be a "storage and administration" point for anti-covid vaccines for every 20,000 citizens.

This was said by the Commissioner for the emergency Domenico Arcuri, explaining in the budget committee the plan that is being developed and which must be ready in the coming weeks.

Since there will be different types of vaccines, Arcuri explained, the plan will essentially have to take into account 4 variables: distribution borne by the manufacturer or the purchasing state, storage temperature, method of administration, time interval between the first and the second. dose.

"Considering the 4 variables - he said - we are organizing a plan that provides for the involvement of the Regions and Municipalities to which I have already asked to indicate the administration points in hospitals and Rsa".

A plan, he concluded, "which will take into account the choices of Parliament on the categories that will be the subject of administration".

94 million already spent on Covid vaccines

 - "We have already spent 94 million, which is the amount that the European Union has asked Italy to acquire the quantity of vaccines that have been prepared so far".

The Commissioner for Emergency Domenico Arcuri said this during a hearing in the Budget Committee, underlining that the "mechanism for acquiring and contracting vaccines takes place within a pool of the European Union that groups all the countries that have signed the agreement" .

Within this agreement, Arcuri explained, each country is entitled to a percentage of vaccines and that of Italy is 13.5%
