(ANSA) - BARI, 24 NOV - The Nas carabinieri have seized, with the right to use, two entire pavilions of the Bari Polyclinic - Chini and Asclepios - because they are "infected with legionella bacteria".
The preventive seizure decree was ordered as part of an investigation into the deaths of four patients, which occurred between 2018 and 2020, who died after contracting the bacterium.
Five executives of the Policlinico are being investigated in the investigation for the crimes of omission of office and death as a consequence of another crime, including the general manager Giovanni Migliore.
