(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 24 - International experts will return to China "as soon as possible" to continue investigating the origins of the coronavirus and examine the results of Chinese scientists. This was stated by WHO emergency chief Mike Ryansottolin, saying that he had received "assurances" from Beijing that "it will facilitate operations in the field". The Chinese, he added, have carried out "an incredible research work" but it is necessary that international experts go there to verify the data and "reassure the international community of the quality of studies".
Last July a team from the UN agency traveled to China to prepare the ground for a more in-depth analysis. Since then, no international expert has set foot in the country. (HANDLE).
