A fierce fire broke out during this Tuesday afternoon in the
Sarmiento railway workshops
, located in Haedo.
According to the first information, there are no injuries and the train is operating normally.
The images began to circulate on social networks due to the impressive smoke and fire screen that can be seen from several blocks away.
The workshops are located on Vignes Street, in the western town of the Buenos Aires suburbs.
Firefighters and Police personnel from the Province of Buenos Aires are already working there.
As a result of the huge fire, some houses near the place had to be evacuated for fear that the flames would move with the help of the wind, in the middle of a meteorological alert with strong gusts.
