Behind these programs is Newen, the audiovisual production subsidiary acquired by the TF1 group in 2015. In a few years, Newen has become one of the pillars of the French audiovisual group.
The year 2020 has started badly with the confinement and the stop of filming.

In March, the shooting of the daily soap operas was stopped.
A hundred episodes could not be delivered and that will have an impact on revenue and cash flow for 2020. But Newen was the first studio to resume filming in May, and today, during the second lockdown, we are able to shoot our three dailies, ie 1 hour 30 minutes of fiction each day, ”
explains Bibiane Godfroid, president of Newen.
