On October 28, Emmanuel Macron announced to the French a confinement for a period of four weeks (at least), to face the second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Four weeks later, the Head of State made a first progress report in a new televised address.
And the "28" will be another date to mark with a milestone, then it is on this November day that the easing of restrictions will begin.
Emmanuel Macron thus announced the reopening from next Saturday of so-called “non-essential” shops, until 9 pm.
Bars and restaurants, however, will have to be patient until next year.
They could reopen from January 20, if the sanitary conditions are met.
