The Duchess of Sussex revealed in an opinion column she wrote to an American newspaper that last July she had an abortion and lost her second son to Prince Harry, "I felt a sharp pain," she described the moment she realized she had lost the baby in her womb.

There does not seem to be a single moment of silence in the life of one of the most interesting and intriguing couples in the world - they are Prince Harry and his wife, Megan Merkel.

After leaving London and the Royal Family with a big round of applause and even relinquishing their royal titles, now, Merkel reveals, in a column she wrote for the New York Times magazine that she had an abortion several months ago.

Lost the second baby

"Something was wrong," Merkel describes the horrific moments, "after I changed Archie's diaper, I felt a painful contraction. I fell to the floor with him in my arms, hummed a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful melody was completely contrary to my sense that something was wrong. "Okay," Merkel said, continuing, "as soon as I held one child in my arms, I knew I had lost the other."
