(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, NOV 26 - A collection signed by designer Paolo Castelli for Istituzione Bologna Musei and dedicated to Giorgio Morandi and his poetics: it is 'Author's objects: Homage to Morandi', which starts from the objects present in the studio now visible in the headquarters original at Casa Morandi (in viaFondazza 36 in Bologna, where the artist lived with his mother and sister from 1910 to 1964) - for the artist the center of a meticulous, contemplative and repeated observation over time - to dwell on the formal and chromatic elements of these absolute protagonists of Morandi's artistic research.
Objects and accessories are dressed in art, color and creativity to give new energy to interior decoration.
'Author's objects: Homage to Morandi' will be marketed online through Artemest, an e-commerce platform with offices in Milan and New York, specializing in high-end design products.
"Morandi's vases, his bottles, his bowls, but also his furnishings such as the bed and the easel - explains the curator of the Morandi Museum, Alessia Masi - rise to muses that inspire the most original and creative reworkings in a contemporary key, giving life to creations with a strong artisan flavor and which enhance shapes and colors, combining aesthetics and ethics ".
"These objects - adds Paolo Castelli - are hidden after my visit to the Master's house, where I was overwhelmed by an unusual emotion. The objects created are a 3D of his life, I hope they will be welcomed into homes as traces that can bring people closer to his works".
