Every year, about 100 leading industry figures from around the world and the country come to the events of the "International Exposure" festival of the "Yellow Submarine" club and the Foreign Ministry: huge festival directors, clubs and cultural bodies, members of record and booking companies, who get a taste of the local music scene in a variety of genres. .

This time, too, they will have to adapt to reality: this year, 16 artists were chosen for exposure (December 11-8), including Dudu Tessa and the Kuwaitis, Noga Erez, Liraz, Abro Riff Cohen, Full Trunk - and the Lola Marsh .

For the band members, Yael Shoshana Cohen and Gil Landau, the unveiling event is of tremendous significance.

They have participated in this format four times already.

"He gave us the initial push for festivals abroad like Primavera in Spain or a festival in Slovakia," says Cohen. "We made connections with people from the industry of the festivals around the world."

"We found that the festival is organized in a very orderly manner," Landau adds, "and alongside the performances there is a meeting with festival producers and club owners, and that encourages the artists to come there. There a real connection is made."

Cohen:

"The fact that this festival happens online in all respects respects the artists."

Gil:

"Everyone is trying to reinvent themselves in this period without the live performances, and in the process we are going through filming right now it looks and sounds great. It was very easy to give up this festival this year, but still insisted and did something creative and original."

The Corona caught them on an international tour, causing them to cancel shows around the world as well.

"We released our second album and we had a column that looked very promising in advance," says Cohen. "Almost all the shows are sold out all over Europe and the United States.

We still delivered the USA and started Europe, we managed to be in Slovenia, Switzerland and France.

"I remember a specific show in Slovenia, there were a lot of people in the audience without masks.

After gigs I used to go out and get my picture taken, and the manager said I might not want to go out because it's not allowed to take a risk of getting infected.

Put two bodyguards not to let people get close to me. "

They are taking advantage of their time in Israel to create new materials:" We did concerts filmed, "says Landau," apart from performing and economic side, not much has changed. "

Cohen:

" columns are an integral part of life our.

"Sometimes there were times when we were more abroad than in Israel, and where did life end. I try to be optimistic and write songs, but I'm used to balancing performances in the studio and now I don't have it."

The world of culture is in a bright place.

Landau:

"There are a lot of creative solutions, private initiatives of people like 'Order of the Hour' that we participated in, there are a lot of spaces out here and sucks that they were not used in the summer. I feel abandoned the world of culture, not just music. ".

Cohen:

"It feels like we are the last to go back to work, and that's a very difficult feeling."
