(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 26 - Poland and Hungary are not giving up on conditionality on the rule of law. In a joint statement, premieres Mateusz Morawiecki and Viktor Orban propose "to facilitate the rapid adoption of the financial package" which includes the EU Budget and the Recovery Fund, "by establishing a two-track process. On the one hand, limiting the scope of any additional budgetary conditionality the EU's financial interests, according to the conclusions of July. and on the other "refer to" a discussion at the European Council on the possibility "distabilire a link between rule of law and interessifinanziari EU", providing long procedural mechanisms.
