You need these ingredients to bake Turkish flatbread yourself
Ingredients for six flatbreads:
2 tbsp dry yeast
150 ml of warm water
500g flour
salt
150 ml milk (room temperature)
3 tbsp olive oil
some butter
Chilli flakes
dried parsley
Instead of parsley, you can of course also use other
dried or fresh herbs

Stir the yeast into the warm water, stir, and set aside.
Put the flour in a large bowl, season with salt to taste and add the yeast-water mixture, milk and oil.
Knead everything with your hands until a smooth, soft dough is formed.
Shape the dough into a ball, cover with a little olive oil and leave to rest in a warm place for an hour.
To do this, cover the bowl with cling film.
The batter should roughly double in size during this time.
Place the dough on a floured work surface and divide it into six equal pieces.
Roll each piece of dough into a ball, then roll it out flat with a rolling pin, about the size of a hand.
Set a large pan on medium to high heat and let each flatbread bake individually for 5 to 7 minutes, so 2.5 to 3 minutes per side.
When you turn a flatbread over, it should be nice and soft and rise.
Melt some butter and stir in parsley and chilli flakes to taste.
Stack the ready-baked flatbreads on a plate and coat each hot flatbread with the parsley and chilli flake butter.
