Kassel - Despite the
partial lockdown
in
November
, new infections with the
corona virus are
not noticeably
lower
.
Therefore, the federal and state governments decided on further measures on Wednesday (25 November 2020) and partially tightened them.
This also has an impact on the
rules
that
apply
at
Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka
and Co.
For the retail sector, the federal and state governments have decided to take more stringent measures for shops larger than 800 square meters.
Nothing will change
for small supermarkets and branches of
Aldi, Lidl, Rewe and Edeka
with a maximum of 800 square meters.
With a sales area of up to 800 square meters, a maximum of one person per 10 square meters is allowed.
These corona rules now apply to Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka and Co.
In shops and branches of
Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka and Co.
with a sales area that is larger than 800 square meters, a gradation of
rules
applies
.
For the sales area up to 800 square meters, 80 people, i.e. one person per 10 square meters, are permitted.
Only one person per 20 square meters is allowed on the area beyond.
The discounter
Aldi had
already tightened
its corona rules
at the beginning of November.
Due to the stricter
Corona rules
, shops and branches have stricter admission regulations.
Therefore, there could be longer waiting times in front of branches of
Aldi, Lidl, Rewe and Edeka
.
In particular, shops with very large sales areas such as Real and Kaufland have to restrict the maximum number of visitors more than in November.
Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, Rewe: Mask compulsory also in the parking lot
Many shops use a shopping trolley or shopping basket to control admission, as this allows the number of people to be limited.
Other shops use
Corona traffic lights
as digital admission controls.
According to the decision of the federal and state governments,
stores such as
Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Edeka and Co.
should also prevent unnecessary queues in the interior of shopping malls or shopping centers.
In addition, the mask requirement will be expanded and will also apply in front of the branches of retail stores such as
Aldi, Lidl, Edeka and Rewe
from December 1
.
It can also be the case that in some shops the mask requirement already applies in the parking lot.
