(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 27 - Best Supporting Actor is Roberto Benigni for his Geppetto in Pinocchio by MatteoGarrone.
Pinocchio also wins in the categories Best Costumes (to Massimo Cantini Parrini, also for Favolacce), BestScenographies (to Dimitri Capuano) and Best Sound (to MaricettaLombardo).
Best Supporting Actress is Barbara Chichiarelli for her interpretation in Favolacce by Damiano and Fabio D'Innocenzo.
Favolacce also wins the Ciak d'oro for the Best Screenplay by the D'Innocenzo Brothers and for the Best Producer.
Il Traitore by Marco Bellocchio wins two prizes: one for Best Photography (to Vladan Radovic) and one for Best Editing (to Francesca Calvelli).
The picture of the Ciak d'oro 2020 is completed with the results of the jury's vote of 150 journalists and film critics in the 10 "technical" categories (Best Non-Protagonist Actor and Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Soundtrack, Best Producer, Best Photography, Best Editing , Best Costumes, Best Scenography and Best Sound).
Best Soundtrack is the one made by Brunori Sas for Massimo Venier's Odio Summer, which marked the return to cinema of Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo.
The three special prizes awarded by the Ciak editorial team have also been announced: the traditional Ciak d'oro Colpo di fulmine (Lontanolontano by Gianni Di Gregorio), the one for Revelation in the TV series (Carlotta Antonelli, Angelica in Suburra La Serie) and the new Ciak d'oro for the best Short (Non io by ClaudiaGatti and Benedetta Pontellini).
In October the winners of the Ciak d'oro delPublic were announced, made this year in collaboration with Sky Tg24.
Partner of the 35th edition of the Ciak d'oro is the Mercatorum Telematic University, of the Pegaso group.
