The presidents of the regions have asked the government in the videoconference in view of the next Dpcm to evaluate the closure of the borders in the event of a ban on the reopening of the ski lifts.
The governors' objective would thus be to avoid competition from European states that would instead allow holidays in the snow.
The government has confirmed that the reopening of the plants will be possible only after the Christmas holidays.
"The ski lifts and the winter holiday system that are fundamental to our economy will reopen when the epidemic has cooled, hopefully within a month, a month and a half. Refreshments will be guaranteed for all businesses that cannot open. ".

But the discussion on the measures for Christmas is still open in the government - which should merge with the others in a single dpcm - and there would not have been any discussion of the school theme at the summit at Palazzo Chigi yesterday.
Today new assessments will be made, after the comparison with CTS and ISS, also in light of the new monitoring data.
