Faced with antipub, industry professionals react

The general states of communication are being held this Friday. Objective: to assert the interest of advertising.


The advertising industry is heckled by a powerful anti-advertising movement to which communications professionals have decided to respond.

This Friday, they hold the States General of Communication, their first major public meeting.

Representatives of professional bodies (Union des Marques, Association of Communication Consulting Agencies and Union of Media Consulting and Purchasing Companies) will of course take part, confronted for the occasion with representatives of civil society, including a member of the Citizen's Convention for the Climate, and some headliners such as Thierry Libaert, EESC advisor and researcher at the Earth & Life Institute, Arnaud Leroy, CEO of Ademe, or LREM deputy Aurore Bergé.
