Rémy Heitz delivered this Sunday the version of the police officers responsible for the assault on Michel Zecler in his professional room.

The music producer was beaten for minutes by three members of the police.

On Sunday, the Paris prosecutor's office called for the indictment of the four police officers involved and the provisional detention of three of them on Sunday.

Placing the three agents suspected of having inflicted a shower of blows on the producer should allow "to avoid a risk of consultation" between them "or pressure on witnesses", argued Rémy Heitz.

The magistrate also asked that the fourth agent, suspected of having thrown a tear gas canister in the studio, be placed under judicial supervision.

Blows under the effect of "fear"

In custody in front of the IGPN, the three main defendants explained the violence of their arrest by "the panic" which seized them, because of the cramped nature of Michel Zecler's music studio, which was struggling according to them.

Accused by the producer of having described him as a "dirty nigger" on several occasions, they dispute "having made racist remarks" yet "corroborated by one of the young people behind the airlock door" and refute "the false character of the trial -verbal ”.

According to the Paris prosecutor, however, the three police officers ended up "admitting that the beatings were not justified and that they had acted mainly out of fear".
