(ANSA) - PARIS, NOV 29 - The French Council of State has ordered the government to review within three days its decree which limits the number of faithful authorized to participate in religious ceremonies to 30 people. "The Prime Minister must change the provisions within three days, adopting strictly proportionate measures to supervise the rallies and gatherings in religious buildings", decided the highest French administrative court. The pronouncement came after the French Bishops' Conference had filed an appeal with the Council of State on Friday against the government's decision. (HANDLE).
