Investigators in Argentina have accused the personal physician of the deceased football legend Diego Maradona of negligent homicide.
The practice of Leopoldo Luque in the capital Buenos Aires and his house in a suburb were searched, as the Argentine media reported, citing sources in the judiciary.
The search warrant was requested by prosecutors in San Isidro, an affluent suburb of Buenos Aires, and signed by a local judge, prosecutors said in a statement.
It is being investigated whether there have been any irregularities in the treatment of Maradona in his home in a guarded residential area north of Buenos Aires in the last two weeks of his life.
The 1986 world champion was supposed to recover there after the neurosurgeon Luque and other doctors had operated on him on a blood clot in the brain.

Leopoldo Luque to apply «, so the public prosecutor in the statement.
It is not currently known what evidence was involved.
Maradona's lawyer, Matias Moria, said Thursday he would ask for a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the football legend's death.
He also criticized the slow reaction of the emergency service in his opinion.
“It took the ambulance more than half an hour to get there.
That was a criminal idiocy, ”wrote Matias on Twitter.
