In green camouflage clothing with a machine gun and ammunition belt over his shoulder and a pistol on his belt, a man was walking through a park in Saarbrücken.
Thereupon frightened passers-by alerted the law enforcement officers.
The Saarbrücken-Stadt police station informed about their large-scale operation with a curious end.
According to their report, numerous patrol cars were immediately ordered to the scene.
After a short search, the officers found the man in the landscaped park.
When they arrived, the self-proclaimed "artist" stated that he was in the middle of a photo shoot.
In fact, he was posing in the countryside with his guns - and had his partner photograph him in various poses.
According to the police, the weapons were deceptively real-looking airsoft weapons, and the ammunition was toys.
The 26-year-old can now expect several reports of administrative offenses and an invoice for the costs of the mission.
The police warn against handling so-called fake weapons in public.
Anyone who uses such objects is putting his life in danger.
