Rewe supermarket: Will numerous brands soon be out of the range?
In addition, certain
brands
want to
move into focus and be presented more prominently in the markets.
However, displays and other advertising measures
do not make sense
for retailers because of
Corona
.
This could make customers feel unsafe in the narrower sales area and not keep enough distance.
What exactly the discussions with
Rewe
are about is currently unclear.
Presumably, negotiations are taking place over the prices that will apply in the next six months.
The following branded products are affected:
Coca-Cola (also Light and Zero)
Monster (the energy drink)

Rewe grapples with well-known brands - also dissatisfied with Nivea
Rewe is also
dissatisfied
with the
Nivea products
from Beiersdorf
.
The retailer is bothered by the quantities of Nivea items, which are
much cheaper
at the
Aldi
discounter
.
That reports "chip.de".
Rewe is now demanding that the products be
offered at the same prices
by the partner
Penny
.
If the companies fail to agree on a result, the situation could change quickly.
Removal from the
range
can be a means of
applying
pressure to enforce the desired conditions and prices.
