"Romain Grosjean spent the night in the hospital, recovery continues. Treatments for burns on his hands are going well. He has received a visit from Gunther Steiner, Haas team principal. He could be discharged from the hospital tomorrow."

Thus the statement from Haas, which takes stock of the conditions of the Franco-Swiss driver after yesterday's terrible accident.

"I was against halo a few years ago, but which I think is the best thing introduced in Formula 1. Without halo I wouldn't be here to talk to you," said the driver in a video posted on Instagram in which he appears blindfolded.

The French Haas driver, hospitalized at BDF Military Hospital after the terrible accident yesterday afternoon at the Bahrain Grand Prix, is recovering from the shock and in the meantime the doctors continue to give him the necessary treatment. The 34-year-old suffered burns to his hands but does not appear to have fractures although he continues to complain of severe pain in his foot. His condition does not cause any concern and, as announced on social media by Haas, Gosjean will leave the hospital tomorrow. The pilot - Haas tweeted - "is continuing his convalescence at the Military Hospital of Bahrain, where he spent the night. The treatments applied for the burns on the backs of his hands are proceeding well. Grosjean received a visit from the team principal. Gunther Steiner, and it was anticipated that he will be discharged on Tuesday 1 December. Further information will be disseminated when available ".
