low profile when it comes to announcing new seasons.
There is a simple reason for this: if unexpected incidents occur during production

.
Therefore the following list is
not entirely binding

As the portal PC Magazin notes,
Netflix
only
plans
to publish the series sequels mentioned in 2021.

These are the series highlights that are very likely to get a new season in 2020:
2nd season of "The Witcher"
:
Work
on the sequel to the surprise hit from Netflix has been going on since early 2020.
However, the team had to stop filming due to the corona pandemic.
If production runs smoothly in the next few months, nothing should stand in the way of a start in 2021.
4th season of "Stranger Things"
: There are two years between the 2nd and 3rd season of the sci-fi hit.
Since the last season was released in 2019, it should finally continue in 2021.
The shooting is also already in full swing.
The creators recently revealed which new actors will be featured in Season 4.
5th season of "Riverdale"
: The series is not produced by Netflix, but the streaming service shows it exclusively in this country.
New seasons of the teen drama usually appear annually.
Since "Riverdale" had to take a Corona break this year, it is expected to continue in 2021.
3rd season of "The Umbrella Academy"
: The weird superhero series started in 2019, so there is only one year between season 1 and 2.
If the makers finish shooting again so quickly, the third season could start as early as 2021.
1st part of the 2nd season of "Disenchantment"
: The 1st season of the cartoon series was released in 2018 and 2019 in two parts.
Fans had already expected the first part of the sequel in 2020.
As it currently looks, they have to be patient until 2021.
3rd season of "How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)"
: There is only one year between the publication of the 1st and 2nd season of "How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)".
So the chances are good that Season 3 will arrive in 2021.
3rd season of "Cobra Kai"
: As Netflix revealed in a trailer, the 3rd season of "Cobra Kai" has already been shot.
The streaming service therefore wants to make them available on January 8, 2021.
Netflix
has already announced that it will produce sequels for several series that will be released in 2020.
One or the other new seasons could therefore
start as early as 2021
