(ANSA) - PARIS, 30 NOV - The Prix Goncourt 2020, the most prestigious of the French literary prizes, has been awarded to the writer Hervé Le Tellier for 'L'Anomalie'.

The other finalists were 'Les Impatientes' by Djaili Amadou Amal, 'Thèsée, sa vie nouvelle', by Camille de Toledo, and 'L'Historiographe du Royaume', by Mael Renouard.


   Published by the publisher Gallimard, the novel by Le Tellier - which deals with an event that is difficult to explain and which we insist on explaining - was the one favored by the critics and already convinced an important slice of the public.


    Author of novels, short stories, poems, theater, Le Tellier, 63, trained as a mathematician and a former journalist. He is also president of the Oulipo association (Ouvroir delittérature potentielle). He got eight votes in favor against two votes for Mael Renouard's Historiographe du royaume '.
