Spectacular and moving tribute by Boca Juniors to Diego Maradona in the historic Bombonera stadium, in the presence of the eldest daughter of the late champion, Dalma.

Boca, who in the Italian night played and won 2-0 against Newell's Old Boys, the last two teams of the Pibe de Oro career, recalled Maradona wearing a shirt with Maradona's name embossed on the back, the players then are went to applaud under the box that belongs to the Maradona family.

Dalma, in tears, was in the garage where he often accompanied his father to see the games of their favorite team.

With no audience due to the coronavirus pandemic, the stands of the Bombonera were filled with flags and banners dedicated to the missing footballer, including a huge canvas that Maradona himself had given to Boca fans almost 30 years ago, with a huge heart at the center.

At half time the stadium lights went out to leave only the stage lit, surmounted by a huge yellow banner with the image of the "Pibe de Oro", with the inscription #DiegoEterno (Eternal Diego), his year of birth 1960 and the sign of infinity (a horizontal 8).

Before the match, all the players and the referee entered the field wearing the Albiceleste shirt and the silhouette of "Diego" on the chest.

Gathered in the midfield circle, in the middle a large image of the champion.

In the background the song "La mano de Dios" and on the big screen the famous solo goal by Maradona against England in the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup (2-1).
