Organize the retreat.

Faced with the rebellion in public opinion, and even within the majority and the government, Christophe Castaner announced yesterday a “complete rewrite” of the famous article 24, at the heart of all the tensions.

Today, therefore, it is the start of the fight to lead this retreat without giving the impression that it is a rout either.

It must be said that the leaks on the meeting held Monday between Emmanuel Macron, Jean Castex, Gérald Darmanin or Eric Dupond-Moretti, reflect the contours of a government failure.

"Very annoyed, even annoyed", confided to us a government source, the president therefore asked his Prime Minister and his ministers to review their copy.

It remains to be agreed on the framework of this "complete rewriting" of article 24. It will also undoubtedly be necessary to put the binder between the government and the majority.

But not sure that the words of Gérald Darmanin, last night during his hearing in the Law Committee of the Assembly, help a lot: "I do not know why [...] this article 24 is debated.

It seems to me that if Parliament took the creation of a committee the wrong way, it would be even more difficult for the government to withdraw, modify or strengthen an article which is now in the parliamentary shuttle.

One of the expertises clearing the gendarmes, that made at the end of May 2020, was canceled for procedural flaw, according to a judicial source on Tuesday morning.

The lawyer for the Traoré family had requested this cancellation on the grounds that the three doctors who wrote this report had called on a colleague cardiologist without mentioning it in the expert's report or requesting authorization from the examining magistrate.

More than four years after the events, the investigation into the death of Adama Traoré is still ongoing.

New investigations on several key points surrounding the death of this young man from Beaumont-sur-Oise (Val-d'Oise) on the sidelines of his arrest, had been relaunched in July, in particular to find possible witnesses.

It was on his tiny liferaft that he was found by Jean Le Cam who saw a light in the distance.

"Have you ever watched shipwreck movies?"

Well, it was the same and worse, ”then commented Kevin Escoffier, now safe.

Specifically near the fortress of Petrodava Dacian, an archaeological site located in the county of Neamt in the northeast of the country and which faces a mountain considered sacred.

Slightly larger than its now missing American counterpart, the Romanian monolith is four meters high and displays on its three sides a very shiny metal covered with small spirals, as if the object had been worked with a tool.

Likewise, its angles have welds in places.

On the spot, it is obviously amazement, since no one had previously noticed this strange structure, which some attribute to an American artist.

Quoted by the local press, Rocsana Josanu, responsible for culture and heritage of Neamt, explains that the site on which the monolith was discovered is a protected archaeological site and normally monitored.
