Camorra in Rome, 28 arrests <br /> including the boss Michele Senese

The budget of an operation by the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Rome is 28 arrests.

They are believed to belong to an organization aimed at drug trafficking and, for various reasons, extortion, illegal possession and carrying of weapons, very serious personal injury, attempted murder, fraudulent transfer of valuables, crimes, for the most part, aggravated by the method mafia.

Among those arrested was Michele Senese, believed to be the head of the homonymous Camorra clan and a drug cartel operating in Rome, under whose 'aegis' other groups dedicated to drug trafficking operated. In one of these groups, they announced the carabinieri, also operated Fabrizio Piscitelli, the ultra of Lazio known as Diabolik killed in an ambush in Rome in 2009.

The blitz of the carabinieri took place at dawn in Lazio, Campania and Veneto.

The military is carrying out a precautionary custody order, issued by the investigating judge of Rome at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, which orders the arrest for the 28 people.


    The provision originates from an investigation by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Rome who reconstructed the operation in Rome of a drug cartel, headed by the well-known Michele Senese, also the recipient of the precautionary measure, under whose aegis distinct dedicated groups operated drug trafficking, identifying top-down assets, associates and drug dealers.
