Nigella Lawson presents: A recipe for butter with butter (BBC)

Chef Nigella Lawson has known glory days in the UK, but the current closure turns her from a legend into a joke.

In the past she has managed to absorb fire on a simple and embarrassing recipe for her, but this time she seems to have managed to break her own record.

It all happened because Lawson presented for five minutes as part of the cooking show Nigella's Eat, Cook, Repeat.

On BBC2 - How to make toast with butter.

She started the segment and said that: "There's nothing I like to do more than toast" she then revealed the butter spreading method in her two stages, which includes (be prepared to be surprised) spreading butter without salt twice.

Finally she adds sea salt as she defines it as "ideal for toast".

very hard.

She explained that the first layer gives the toast a "great texture," Lawson explained.

"The second stage now - are you ready for it?"

She asked, captivating viewers for the sequel.

"I need some more butter, and it's going to stay on some golden surfaces on the surface."

Alex Massi, who watched the show on BBC2 tweeted: "I think it makes sense to say that Nigela can also not teach us how to make toast."

Another person wrote that: "Two weeks into the quarantine, and Nigela Lawson shows us how to spread butter on toast. The content is over to display."

Andy Golding signed the review and said: "Nigella on BBC2 shows us how to make toast! Thank God for that, I lost the recipe."
