(ANSA) - VENICE, 02 DEC - The Mose was raised this morning in Venice to protect the city from high water which will reach a maximum of about 120 centimeters in the sea - forecast compared to the initial 130 - at around 10.45. With the system currently raised, explains the Centro Maree delComune, the water level is 107 cm above the dams, 60 instead in the internal lagoon, or the least touched around 5, and the historic city is therefore dry. More important is the phenomenon in Chioggia, given that the bora wind blows, not discirocco: beyond the Mose barriers the sea is 111 cm, in the city the level is 90 cm. (HANDLE).
