After the designation of the French Stephanie Frappart for tomorrow night's match between Juventus and Dinamo Kiev valid for the Champions League groups, the first female refereeing in the history of the highest European competition, also for the Europa League match on Thursday between Gent and Slovan Liberec UEFA has chosen a female referee.
It is the Ukrainian Kateryna Monzul, who will be assisted as assistants by compatriots Oleksandra Ardasheva and Maryna Striletska.
Monzul had already made her debut in the world of men's football refereeing San Marino-Gibraltar of Nations League.
