(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, DEC 2 - Donald Trump discussed with his advisors whether to grant a preventive pardon to his three adult children, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka, and his son Jared Kusher, as well as his personal lawyer RudyGiuliani, in fear that the justice department of the future Biden administration will retaliate against him by hitting them.
The New York Times writes it.
Donald Trump Jr. was investigated in Russiagate for contacts with Russians he met at Trump Tower who offered compromising material on Hillary Clinton but was never indicted. Kushner gave false information to the federal authorities about his contacts with foreign authorities for his security post, but the president assured him the same. The president's concerns about Eric and Ivankap could instead be linked to the New York prosecutor's investigation into alleged tax fraud and evasion. On Giuliani he would weigh the investigation of the NY prosecutor on the handling of the lawyer in Ukraine against the Bidens.
