The President of the Republic is considering "restrictive measures" for the French wanting to cross the borders to go skiing.


"If there are countries that keep their ski resorts open, we will have control measures."

During a press point Emmanuel Macron indicated that the government plans to take "restrictive and dissuasive measures" to prevent the French from going abroad to ski while the ski lifts will be closed in France.

The president intends to "dissuade our fellow citizens from going to areas where there is a risk of infection and so as not to create a situation of imbalance, with stations in France which will have to close when others open" a- he clarified. As for the content of the sanctions for those who would like to leave France to ski, it will be necessary to wait a bit: "The measures will be refined in the coming days with the government and according to this review clause that we have planned towards December 11 ”.
