The scoring system according to which the "color" of the locality in the morbidity index was determined was changed from today (Wednesday), in accordance with the decision of the Ministerial Committee.
After the change, the list of red cities includes 24 localities, the orange - 32, the yellow - 52 and the green - 1,153.
How to determine the color of the locality:
Red: A score of 10-7 (instead of 10-7.5)
Orange: A score of 7-5.5 (instead of 7.5-6)
Yellow: 5.5-4 (instead of 6-4.5)
Green 4-0 (instead of 4.5-0)

As will be recalled, the Corona Cabinet has decided that the education system will be opened for the fifth- to twelfth-grade age groups in accordance with the traffic light colors, so that studies will only be possible in green and yellow localities.
For early childhood and first- and fourth-grade educational frameworks, the opening will remain a national opening regardless of traffic light colors.
As of December 20, a weekly update mechanism will be activated for the color classification that determines the opening of the education strata from the fifth to twelfth grades.
It is stipulated that the traffic light data will be set regularly on Wednesday of the week and will be brought for approval in the Corona Cabinet.
These will serve as the determining mark for the authority's classification for the opening of education in the authority for the entire following week (ie an authority determined as green / yellow can hold learning in these layers on the following Sunday for a week, while an authority determined as orange / red - can not open for a week)
During this period, if the authority changes color, there will be no change in the guidelines unless only exceptional cases of disease outbreak occur (as part of a declaration of restricted areas).
The daily score of each authority will be published on an ongoing basis and will reflect the morbidity trend in the authority.
