The list is headed by »Black Lives Matter« (BLM).

This initiative actually sharpened the view of society, including the art system, one of the co-founders is an artist herself.

On the whole, however, the following applies: You don't have to be overly concerned with art to be one of the »Power 100« this year - one of the mighty hundred in the art world.

A surprising number of philosophers, sociologists and historians were chosen, i.e. people who work through their books, who are influencers of thought.

They occupy three places in the top ten, but there is only one artist name to be found there: the American Arthur Jafa takes 6th place.

The first artist mentioned is the Chilean Cecilia Vicuña, she was honored with 17th place - but is this position still an honor or already a nuisance?

The list is always expected to be over-excited, and it may now trigger completely different tensions.

Because the artists should rightly feel neglected, especially those who work alone and not as part of a group, only 21 positions have been reserved for them.
