(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DECEMBER 03 - Three guitars that belonged to rocker Eddie Van Halen, former Van Halen frontman who died last October 6th, were auctioned for a total of $ 422,000. Of the three instruments, a custom Kramer 'Frankenstrat' was the most successful, sold for over $ 231,000.
The sale included other instruments and objects belonging to famous artists including Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Little Richard, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix. Some Kurt Cobain Fenders sold for a total of $ 281,000 600, while the first Bob Marley guitar went up for auction for $ 153,000 600.
