(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DECEMBER 03 - The virtual summit on the pandemic kicks off at the UN, with the aim of putting pressure for global action to address the emergency and its unprecedented consequences on society, the economy, work and travel. Alsummit, scheduled for today and tomorrow, will be attended by video-registered about 100 heads of state and government and ministers from member countries. For Italy there will be the message of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
General Assembly President Volkan Bozkir called the high-level special session "a historic moment and a test for multilateralism" that "will be defined by our collective action on one of the most critical issues of our time". (HANDLE).
