There it is again: new wooden phallus sculpture on the Grünten

The story of the mysterious disappearance of an approximately two-meter-high wooden penis is one chapter richer - because now there is a replacement: On the 1738-meter-high Grünten in the Allgäu Alps there is again a phallus sculpture made of wood.
It is slightly larger than its predecessor and supported by several beams.
It is still unclear who brought the wooden penis there.
Webcam images of the nearby Grünten lifts blurred showed how a new sculpture might have been erected there.
"Webcam shows that something is stirring again," wrote the "Allgäuer Zeitung".
The first wooden penis had stood on the mountain for years, but had recently attracted international attention when it first fell over within a few weeks, was then straightened up again and finally disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
In the case, the police are also investigating - but so far without success.
"Nothing has happened in the matter," said a spokesman on Thursday.
"It is still not clear whether it is a criminal offense." Possible owners of the missing sculpture have not yet reported.

Who brought the wooden penis up the mountain years ago and why is still unknown today.
In the meantime, however, the sculpture has even been listed as a »cultural monument« by the online map service Google Maps.
