Wsj, usa discuss 'Lady Huawei' repatriation to China

The US government and Chinese tech giant Huawei are seeking an agreement to allow Meng Wanzhou, the company's chief financial officer, nicknamed 'Lady Huawei', to be repatriated to China. The Wall Street Journal writes it. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 04 - The US government and the Chinese technology giant Huawei are seeking an agreement to allow the repatriation to China of Meng Wanzhou, the company's chief financial officer, nicknamed 'Lady Huawei'. The Wall Street Journal writes.


    Meng was arrested in Canada on a US arrest warrant in 2018 - Huawei is accused of violating US sanctions against Tehran - and opposes extradition to the United States.


   The affair has created a further crisis between Washington and Beijing. (HANDLE).
