Friday morning, Dominique Strauss-Kahn explained in a tweet that he had accepted for "the first time" to "give (his) version of the facts which marked (his) withdrawal from political life", in a documentary film planned for the fall 2021.

An ad posted just three days before the broadcast on Netflix of the excellent documentary series "Room 2806: the DSK affair", available on Monday, which goes into detail on the rape charge launched by Nafissatou Diallo in May 2011 in New York ... And in which the main party did not wish to "give his version of the facts".
In the four episodes, where testify Nafissatou Diallo, several investigators, the novelist Tristane Banon, who accused DSK of attempted rape, or a former prostitute, the director Jalil Lespert and his team have heard from the American lawyers of Strauss- Kahn.
Two close friends of the former boss of the International Monetary Fund also express themselves there.

The director and producer of the Netflix series do not "think" that Dominique Strauss-Kahn has seen a preview of "Room 2806".

“We wanted to pose the facts as rigorously as possible,” assures Philippe Levasseur.

Regardless of what everyone thinks about what happened in room 2806, the series takes a vivid look at what happened before MeToo.
The declarations of support for DSK by Jean-Christophe Cambadélis, Ségolène Royal and Jack Lang seem surreal today.
Just like the greedy laughter of the participants of the show “93, Faubourg Saint-Honoré” by Thierry Ardisson, when Tristane Banon told of having been the victim of an attempted rape by Strauss-Kahn.
